Mel's kind and generous heart touched us all deeply. Our loss is outweighed only by the
blessing of having known and loved Mel for even a short while. 
Mel and I shared 9 wonderful years together. I'm so glad to have
loved him. I grieve, but I am healing.

AIDS took Mel's life. I hate AIDS.
